Kenda Tomac Small Block 8 26x2.1 DTC Folding Tire
With it's small, ramped knobs, 2.1 width and DTC compound the Small Block 8 is the ultimate XC Racing tire. Fast and grippy it is well suited for a variety of riding conditions.
Have just got my third small bolck 8 from price point. It was original equipment on my Ti Fantom Pro. They work on the road with 65psi or take 10 psi out and use on the crosscountry. They sing on the road and grip on the dirt, a great hybrid tire. Highly recommend for higher end mountain bikes
Really like this tire for riding in the Phoenix area. Been using them for the last few years. I use it on the rear, it rolls fast and the traction is surprisingly good. As it wears it will start to slide out a bit, but nothing serious, just means you need a new tire. They usually last me about 7 months or so. I usually ride 3 times a week. Have not tried it as a front tire.
It's a good tire, but i noticed that it slips in loose dirt a lot.
Love this tire, definitely perfect for the dry conditions here in TX. I've ridden it for almost 1 complete season, has awesome grip in corners. I've been ridding for close to 15 years now, this is by far my favorite tire by far. Not recommended for damp or wet conditions.
Love this tire fast rolling and great grip in hard packed soil. Fantastic if you are looking for speed
have this on my rear and the slant six in the front really fast tire, great for hardpacked or rocky terrain - beware of mud with this as it becomes useless
I've been running these on my older Enduro for the last year and really like them. They roll faster then the Nevegal's I had, and the traction is great. They even get decent grip in muddy climbing.
