A Look Inside Litespeed

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Litespeed Li2 Ultegra Di2 Road Bike 2013

Ride like a pro with the all-new, Di2 equipped, UCI-approved Litespeed Li2. The Li2 is an all-around competitor with multiple asymmetric and shape-specific design features made possible by Litespeed's own Continuous Cross-Sectional Morphology. Litespeed's Quadrilateral System manages simultaneous torsional-frontal and lateral-load input from both road and rider, while the asymmetric down tube/seat tube junction allows for efficient energy transfer.

State-of-the-art components and technology include BB386 bottom bracket, 1.125" x 1.5" tapered carbon fork, and Zero-Stack headset. Shimano's Di2 component technology deserves to be on a bike that is truly at the forefront of process and material technology. We think the Li2 is definitely up to the challenge.

If you haven't yet experienced the Integra Di2 components, you'll be surprised at how this bike rides. The compact geometry is aggressive, but still comfortable. Acceleration is snappy. Shifting is smooth and silent. All that time you've spent getting the last bit of noise out of the drive train turns into a 2-minute adjustment with Di2. My single complaint is that LiteSpeed could have routed the rear brake cable inside the frame rather than along the top tube, completing the otherwise very clean look of this cycle. You may wish to upgrade the wheels. Otherwise, the rest of the components are consistently good.
