Magura MT 4 Disc Brake
The brake lever of the MT4 is manufactured from Carbotecture. As with the models toward the top end of the range, stability and rigidity are retained by using a greater capacity and wall thickness. Tool-free center-of-pressure adjustment is also incorporated into the brake lever. The brake caliper is identical to that of the MT6.

I have riden several mountain bikes over the past 7 years and all but one had Juicy 7 brakes. Their stopping power was adequate but they constantly growled and squeeled, especial while riding in winter weather, plus the wheel truely never free wheeled. I couldn't wait to replace them. I had owned KTM dirt bikes in the past and they were equipped with Magura brakes and I had very good success with them. So I purchased the Magura MT4 for the front and rear of my 29er. They are the "BOMB". Installation was easy and I had ZERO issues shortening hoses or bleeding the system. Highly recommend to anyone looking to upgrade.
