Magura MT 8 Disc Brake
The MT8's innovative design and comprehensive use of the finest materials make it Magura's lightest strongest brake ever. The Carbotecture SL master/lever body, together with a carbon lever blade and clamp help keep things light and give the MT8 its sexy good looks. Excellent heat release is achieved by the brake caliper's open design and large surface area. Both the carbon clamp and carbon lever are the products of a new type of Carbolay process and thus provide incredible strength combined with the lowest possible weight. Aluminum bolts reduce the overall weight even further.

BEST BRAKES EVEEEER. I used to use xtrs and in 2013 i switched to these Magura beauties and have to say i am really pleased with the switch. I've ridden xtr all my life and i am pro shimano in all my components until i tried this mt8s. In performance the magura eats up the xtrs. In my opinion they brake with authority. It's a different feel on the maguras. The bike is much more controllable with the maguras giving me much more confidence to ride nasty descents. The aesthetics are lovely. It complements my bike immensely. Overall these brakes are well worth the extra money. They are a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Amazing brake power and beautiful aesthetics. Extremely light but durable.
