FTS-X

Force Transfer System X. A fruther improved FTS free wheel system to meet the demand of intensive MTB riding as closely as possible: stregthened pawls, self locking axle end screw to make the freewheel mecanism even more hard wearing and a new seal halving friction torque.

QRM

Qualite de Roulements Mavic. Mavic only uses high quality sealed cartridge bearings. On QRM wheels, they provide high durability thanks to double sealing (2RS or LLU) as well as high efficiency thanks to C3 internal clearance (low play, tight tolerances).

Self Lock

The special shape of the spoke end, on the thread, makes it impossible to loosen.The spokes stays tightly screwed into the nipple, no tension loss is occurring. As a benefit, the wheel keeps its original roundness for a long time and does not get out of true.

H2

Hammer Hardening. Local strengthening of the rim in the area where the spokes exert the greatest stress. This improves rim's life expectancy and resistance to micro cracking.

Avid G3 Cleansweep Rotor 2011

With the introduction of the Elixir Disc Brake, Avid designed everything anew from lever to rotor. The Avid G3 Cleansweep rotor is the fruit of this labor. It features varying sizes and shapes of cut outs for a more consistent feeling braking surface and vastly improved heat dissipation. The G3 also sheds approximately 10g over the G2 Clean Sweep rotor design. Available in 160, 185, and 203mm diameters.
