Having too much or too little air pressure in your tire is not a good thing. Check your pressure often using a pressure gauge.
Hands down best front tire I've ever run! This tire is for everyone, except maybe the weight weenies, but they don't deserve a tire this good. The first one lasted through two years and thousands of miles of rocks before it finally died. The EXO sidewalls are the real deal and are tougher than a $5 diner steak. Mine is setup tubeless on a Flow rim and I routinely ran pressures below 20 psi. It's like adding another inch of travel to your fork. For some reason the Ardents seat so well and are so durable that the Stan's will last several months longer in them than in other tires I've tried. An Ardent is not Kenda Small Block 8 or Geax AKA fast, but blows every similar tire like the Nevegal or Rampage out of the water.
Put this on the front of my hardtail, looking for the same riding feel/characteristics as a Nevegal but with bigger volume. With an ArchEX it's a great combo in SoCal, wide, planted, supple. The last part is why i like it better than the Kenda in front. Better feel. Tried briefly on the back, no way it's better than the Nevegal. Less of everything, especially braking.
Good medium traction all condition tire. Works really well as a rear tire with something even meatier up front. I would recommend this tire as an all purpose tire with reasonably low rolling resistance.
