Maxxis Minion dhf and dhr 2.5 60A wb - Oct 01, 2014

This is by far one of the best tires I own for off road use. I run the dhf on the front and dhr on the back. Excellent grip on the dirt, great cornering. A little on the heavy side, you can save about a pound per tire going with folding. Not sure how those will hold up to pinch flats?. As I have the wire bead. A side note. These are not road tires. These are not for the occasional road rider who also likes to ride in the dirt. The Minion dhr will give you a lot of drag on the pavement. So make sure you have a good set of road tires for your occasional road ride. But in the dirt, be ready to tear it up.

Run this tire on the back - Apr 09, 2014

First off, I run a DHF 3c on the front, and this tire, the DHF 60a on the rear. The harder compound last MUCH longer than the softer compounds would on the rear wheel. It still offers great traction and cornering, just last longer. Also, the casing is super tough and minimizes pinch flats. You can't go wrong with this tire.
