I purchased a set of these tires over the winter and have used them a few times this spring. These are by far the most sluggish tires I have ever used. Yes, they have grip....too much grip. In loose sand, loose gravel, mud, the tires feel like they are sucking you in and slowing you down. It feels as though someone is hanging on to the back of your jersey as you are pedalling. To be fair, they are very confident while cornering at speed (again, great grip.) I've also never used a tire that kicks up so much sticks and debris into the back wheel and drive train. I'll be retiring these tires immediately. I advise against them.
