NINER TECHNOLOGY

Because the lower swingarm linkage is located underneath the bottom bracket, chain torque in any chainring effectively neutralizes the unwanted forces that degrade power transfer to the rear wheel.

Niner believes that your alloy bike should incorporate all of the same high end features and technologies as any top of the line carbon bike. Niner uses the most current alloy shaping technology.

The basic concept of the larger diameter is simple: it will keep your wheels on top of oncoming obstacles. Rather than riding IN the terrain, you'll be riding ABOVE it, gaining more control and stability on even the roughest trails.

Showing Questions 1-3 of 3

Q: What year frame is used in this build?

A: Great question! Keep in mind that Niner does not have model years although they would call this specific frame-build the SMU model (Special Makeup) The differences with the SMU model would be the rear shock which was improved by using the Rockshox Monarch which is designed for mid-high travel improving the characteristics of the bike overall. Niner chooses to update models when there is a reason to do so to improve/use new technology & take advantage of new material/construction techniques. More information can be found in the Niner Encylopedia (link posted below) https://s3.amazonaws.com/NinerDocs/NIN_OWNERS_UNIVERS.pdf

Q: Could you tell me the weight of this particular build in a medium or large? Thanks!

A: Great question! The medium weighs 30.28LBS/13.73KG on our scale therefore, the large build would be at least a few grams more (less than 1LB max)

Q: Can you do any substitutions on the fork. I would like to know about putting on the 110mm Fox Float in stead of the Manitou. http://www.pricepoint.com/Brand/Fox-Racing-Shox/FOX-32-Float-CTD-FIT-110mm-29-QR15-Tapered-Black-Fork-2013.axd Thanks

A: There are a lot of different options available depending on what you are looking for. Feel free to shoot us an email or give us a call and we will be happy to help you out!
