NINER TECHNOLOGY

Because the lower swingarm linkage is located underneath the bottom bracket, chain torque in any chainring effectively neutralizes the unwanted forces that degrade power transfer to the rear wheel.

Rather than just offering the same carbon products, Niner makes sure they are maximizing the benefits of the material so that their carbon products are purpose-built from the ground up.

The basic concept of the larger diameter is simple: it will keep your wheels on top of oncoming obstacles. Rather than riding IN the terrain, you'll be riding ABOVE it, gaining more control and stability on even the roughest trails.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Niner JET 9 RDO Carbon Frame

The guys at Niner take design seriously - riders know that Niner carbon comes with a guarantee of strength, quality and technical expertise. When it came to updating the Jet 9 RDO, their engineering team had a tough job - how do you improve a frame that has already surpassed rigorous design and testing parameters as well as garnered glowing reviews from media and riders around the globe? The answer lies in the details. They updated the Jet 9 RDO to new standards, added a sleek carbon rocker link and found every place where updates can improve strength, weight and performance. Expertise radiates from the carbon forms and flowing lines that have to be “just so” rather than “just another.” Any bike can take you from here to there, only the Jet 9 RDO can do it with the panache you expect from Niner.

Jet 9 RDO - Apr 23, 2014

PORTLAND, ME

Great cross-country rig for shorter travel environments. I built this with 120mm Fox float up front, and it's a great ride for most of the NE riding I do. Outstanding climber, quick and snappy in the corners. Head angle is a bit steeper than other frames in this category (SC Tallboy, Ibis Riply, etc). If you want a bike that flies, this is the frame for you!

Jet 9 RDO Experience - Apr 16, 2014

Hands down this bike made me faster. It handles so well in many different terrains. Much better cornering and feel compared to a Santa Cruz. Build up with a Fox fork and rail anything that comes your way. I have ridden and raced my RDO hard for over 6mos. - no complaints.
