Buying another one - Nov 25, 2014

After 4 years my first one finally is getting replaced. I have been pleased with it though, and for the money it can't be beaten. Like others said, you want to be careful opening or taking it apart. But it held up well on my hardtail mountain bike. I am considering seeing if I can mount it to my bag, as then the shocks would not be as great against it.

Bright light but poor quality - Apr 23, 2014

I'm impressed with the brightness, but mine last only for couple months. I had this installed on my hard tail MTB, but when I jump on a street curb this thing fall apart, cover, batteries and reflective plastic are all over the place. Not sure if that's a defective or what.

Good Deal? - Nov 03, 2013

Great item for the money, until you hit a significant bump in the road and lose the lens and batteries...thankfully I always have two lights out back. After that, you will look for another option because a good deal it isn't if you have to keep buying lights.

Very visible, 4 modes (solid, 2 alternating blink modes, and one full flash mode). Set up easy and seems solid. Great for commuting. Very tempting at the price.

MISLEADING FEATURE DESCRIPTION - Apr 15, 2013

Basic single-button operation, but somewhat fragile in nature. I felt like I was going to break the lens during remaoval/installation of batteries--BE CAREFUL. Post collar sees a bit small in my opinion. I have two posts that are 30.0 or larger, and the collar barely fits aroung my 30.9mm post w/ the smallest grip-spacer (product comes w/ two that can be used simultaneously or individualy). Don't let the product description fool you! While the LEDs in this device will blind you, they only operate in two "flash settings" among the "four operational settings": 1) ON/Steady (not really a flash mode); 2) ON/Uni-directional flash (left to right, almost like a turn signal); 3) ON/bi-directional flash (Knight Rider mode - not as cool w/ 5 LEDs, only 3 of which are visible head-on); 4) OFF Easily worth the money. Should work out fine for my pre-sunrise rides in to work.
