A slim, lightweight pad that's great for riders looking to fit something under their jersey sleeves. Keep your friends close and your Enemies closer. Hit the park, trails or dirt jumps with the Enemy - minimal coverage at it's best.
Mine started to fall apart on day two of use, the stitching were the elastic straps attach closest to the elbow let go first and then cascaded down each side until foam and plastic were visible. They went in the trash on day three of use. I should note, I bought the knee pad version of this and those have been fine. The quality difference between the elbow pad and knee pad is night and day.
would have given 5 stars but the little plastic strap guide is weak sauce. Mine broke first time out and had to replace it with a zip tie. Otherwise a bomber product.
I purchased these thinking that for $10 I couldn't go wrong. Unfortunately I was. with my arms straight, they measure 13.5" on the bicep and 12" on the forearm. I ordered size large. When I put them on, the bicep area is super tight and the forearm area is loose. I tried them on the mtn and the fell down the first run. I could tighten the velcro on the bicep a little that would help keep them in place, but that would dig in to my arm and make them very uncomfortable. I ended up putting them in my pack for the rest of the day. They seem like they are decent protection, but I won't wear them because of how uncomfortable they are and the fact that they fall down.
Only used this once and it started ripping right away. Bought it on sale so didn't bother complaining and returning it. Sometimes you get what you paid for.
Very comfortable for being bulky pads. Easy to slide on and off and stay put.
First off, I can't say I'm a huge fan of wearing bulky pads but for what's it's worth these aren't bad. They stay put and don't slide down too much. Have needed them on soft falls and am certain they would hold up when actually needed. Could use a little more flex but can't beat it for the price.
For the price, great protection. They run a little on the big side. I suggest a size smaller than what you would normally wear to keep them snug.
