I dont think there is a better grip on the market. I even tried ergo grips and these were way more comfortable. The large diameter of these grips makes it easier to hold and just feels like a more natural fit in my hand. Lock out is great but not absolutely needed, the regular ours work great to.

These grips are really nice. They slide right on with no effort, and the lock rings keep them very secure. End caps are nice too and won't fall off. These grips are pretty thick, and the rubber feels good to grab. They definitely help absorb some shock.
