Great stability w/ minor ergonomic quibbles - May 06, 2015

Overall, this stand is fantastic. It's plenty stable and adjustable for bike maintenance, painting, and cleaning. Both the rotation and seatpost clamp screws take minimal effort to use, and are so quick that there's little need for the upgraded quick release model(s) for my home shop. Things I'd change: -I tend to adjust the height of the stand quite a bit, so a knob on the collar screw would've been nicer than requiring a hex key -Design the pivot points of the two support legs so that the whole assembly folds up smaller, rather than getting longer when you try and stow it away.

Terrible and hard to store... - Apr 30, 2014

This was the only Park product that I've been disappointed with. It's difficult to store, doesn't clamp very hard and overall is weak. I sold mine and bought the Topeak PrepStand Pro and it's MUCH better to store and use. Sorry Park, you've been batting 1000 with me for 2 decades...had to miss a pitch after a while.

Solid Stand For The home mechanic - Apr 15, 2014

Solid workstand from Park without breaking the bank. If you opt to get a worktray - understand you will need the separate collar to use with the PCS -9. I recommend you review the Park website for compatibility first.
