Park Tool Shop Cone Wrench Set 13-28mm
The standard of the industry, Park Tool Shop Cone Wrenches are unmatched in quality and performance. The special "Y" head design puts more material where it's needed for strength and durability. Precision sizing and a military grade industrial phosphate finish ensure an accurate fit and consistent quality. Thin enough to use on the narrowest of adjusting cones, the SCW Shop Cone Wrenches have a long, vinyl dipped handle for leverage and comfortable use.
This is a nice set. I would buy this and then get duplicates of the 13, 15, 17, and 19 for those non-standard hubs you'll likely run into. Anything above 19 rarely gets any action, but that 28 will come in handy if you ever work on any XT 15/20mm front hubs. These wrenches are typical Park quality. They're also the best tool I know about for pre-bending spokes on a wheel build, after you've brought the spokes up to working tension.
Okay, I needed some cone wrenches and I didn't want to blow a whole lotta dough. So I looked around and priced things out. As always, Pricepoint is the cheapest but it was on sale! So I bought it and now I'm SO glad I did. A trip to the bike shop at $60/hour labor to remove a bolt one time is like a minimum shop fee of $15 charge. Why would anyone want to spend that much when 4 trips to the shop you can have your OWN set of cone wrenches their mechanic uses and do it yourself for the rest of your life FREE!? The tools have a really nice rubber handle, they're strong, light, and not to mention cool looking in blue and black where I put nails in along my work bench and hang them through a little convenient hole in the end of the handle so they look really nice. https://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/67044_4318022670137_543432128_n.jpg
