Pedro Tire Lever Pair
The proprietary plastic blend in combination with the molded box construction make these levers the strongest available. A chisel tip for easier insertion under the bead and a slightly thicker style keeps the lever from slipping. The bold shape makes it easier to remove the tightest of tires without damage.
I have blown through a number of tire levers recently. The tubeless seats for Shimano wheels were incredibly difficult to get a tire to get over the rim. I literally broke four other cheapy levers. This is stout and WIDE enough to do the trick.
These are perfect! Smooth, strong plenty of grip. Highly recommend these for easy tire removal and installation, especially if your going tubeless.
I really like these levers. I haven't had them deform at all, unlike the standard blue park levers. None of my tires are the tightest, but I have tested them pretty hard. I think the width of the levers is the best part, more stable and stronger. I carry them on every ride.
Very slippery on the tire. The plastic composite they use doesn't give any bite and the tire slips off of it easily on a hard stiff taught DH tire with a wire bead. May work fine on road tires or other softer easier tires to slip over a rim but not DH tires. Steer clear. I'd suggest Sette's with some KY jelly and a little water if you have DH tires. Otherwise they may be fine for your application. I broke two of these installing wired beaded DH tires on a DH rim before I discovered KY Jelly to slip them off and on. I would suggest sanding a tiny bit under the lip to give them some bite to Pedros or groving them so they don't slip off the bead when installing or taking them off.
