Price Point Ultra 8-Panel Shorts are durable and ultra comfortable. 7.5oz Nylon/Lycra fabric with a 3-piece chamois. With the Ultra 8-panel short you're in for a comfortable ride.
Price Point Cycling Apparel easily compares to more expensive name brand apparel's quality but at a great affordable price!
I trail ride and found no need to spend excessive amounts of $ on the name brand shorts. The shorts hold up well and I haven't torn a pair yet. This is the only brand I buy.
I've used Price Points Ultra 8-Panel Shorts for years and have always found them to be the best bang for the buck out there. They are comfortable and very durable and I highly recommend them.
Nice shorts for the money, I ordered a XL based on the other reviews to order one size larger, they were too big.
I got these shorts for my son and he love them, He is a bike messenger in NYC and he carries a lot of weight on his back every day. So far the best shorts he got This is why i do my shopping here.
Recently I bought these shorts and thought they were a smoking good deal. The first few times I wore them, they rubbed me raw. I read that after a few rides they stopped rubbing like that so I kept them, and used even more chamois creme. Well, they still rub a bit and now the chamois stitching is totally coming out. Sad. I am also pretty sure, the stitching is what causes the raw rub spots. When I cut off the dangling 8 inches of thread that came out of the chamois, I found it to be course and slightly thick. Enough to rub you and make a raw spot. When I first received them, it looked like a three year old stitched the chamois and ran out of thread twice while stitching. Pretty sad. As far as fit goes, I love them. Shorts, excluding the chamois, are actually pretty nice, and they seem to be of good quality fabric. With a better chamois and stitching, these would be a super pair of shorts. I think I will stick with Pearl Izumi.
Good shorts at a good price. Been riding these two seasons now without issue. I'm a 38 to 40 pant size, xl fits me well.
I bought two of these when they were on sale. They fit well using the sizing chart as a guide. The padding is adequate for mountain biking, but it isn't comfortable for the long haul sit that is road riding. They are now my go to mountain biking shorts, and they work great for that.
Just got these last week, very comfortable fit! Never owned bike shorts. I am participating in a charity ride in September and I think these will be great. Glad I didn't drop a lot on name brand ones.
Great shorts, great price.
These shorts are great. They are very comfortable and for the quality I cant believe how inexpensive they are, especially when they go on sale. The chamois did have a little bit of a rough edge at first which irritated my thigh a little but it softened up after a couple uses so I would have to give it 4 stars. It is generously cut in the back so on my road bike it comes up plenty high and it isn't too short even for a big guy like me. I will buy these again. 1500 miles so far and they are like new except for the pricepoint logo which I think is a goofy looking logo anyway so I peeled it off.
Honestly these are awesome, easily comparable to a more expensive branded pair. Good fit, hard wearing and really comfortable.
i have had these shorts for about 4 years now and they are just now starting to show wear. Going to be buying another pair shortly. Best riding shorts for the price.
Comfortable, padding works well enough, appear to be durable, great price.
after two years of service the only thing that has really worn is the pricepoint logo. Not as cushy as some other brands i have, but they have outlasted a least one pair. For the price it can't be beat! Also, the size is a bit forgiving - as getting on the trainer last month... i may have been a little bit more chunky than usual...
I bought these shorts a couple of years ago, and they've been alright. I like my Pearl Izumi ones a lot better, but I also paid more money for those. The logo on these peeled off quite easily after a few times through the washer, and they're not the most comfortable, but they work for someone who needs some shorts and hates spending a lot of money.
These shorts hold up as good as any expensive pair. Why would you want to pay more? I have purchased 4 pair and rotate them out and have never had a problem over a few years of use. Buy em!!
I got two of these shorts. I use them twice a week for mountain biking and so far so good. Not bad for money. Nuttin fancy and get the job done.
Low Price good quality
Not terrible for the price. The way the shorts are cut makes the fit a bit odd (ride really high in the back). The chamois is fairly thin and after a year of wearing has already been collapsed. These are alright for training shorts, and for the price make it worth it. I plan to spend a little more next time for a bit more quality.
500+ miles on them and they are holding up great! However, a sweaty toe did go through the seam during a change, but not a defect by any means. Will certainly buy them again.
I have two pairs of these and can't imagine spending double or triple to get a "name brand". They fit great and retain their shape through multiple washes and falls. We've hit ground many times together and there are no tears or damage. Couldn't be happier.
I have used these riding shorts for 5 years, they have been very comfortable and durable. I have used them road biking and mountain biking. Just recently the pad is starting to separate from the shorts and caused some chafing, but I have gotten more than my money's worth from them.
Good fit and elastic in legs has held up for the season. I add drawstrings to all my shorts, but the waist elastic in still good too. Couple of threads have broken (front right leg seam and seat pad), but do not affect the fit. I expect only 1 season from these shorts - they have made it.
I only have experience with one other pair of shorts and in comparison these are quite good. The material feels soft and the cut is pretty nice. Very comfortable. For sizing, I typically wear 34 and the Medium fit perfectly.
