ProLink ProGold is a thin-bodied lubricant that utilizes metal friction reducer technology for a smooth shifting, quiet drivetrain. It does not build up or become tacky and works even better if you can apply it 10-12 hours before riding. I like to apply ProGold the night before a big ride for the best results. When ProGold is allowed to setup this way it sheds dirt and dust like a dry lube, but still lubricates like a wet lube. ProGold's helps extend the life of your chain by repelling moisture and preventing corrosion and will have your drivetrain performing like a well oiled machine.
Need a chain for that ProGold chain lube? Price Point carries 8, 9, 10 and 11 speed chains from Shimano, SRAM, KMC and Wipperman.
This stuff is great. It's more expensive per ounce than many other lubes, but when you look at all those performance perks, you're saving time and repair money when you use this stuff. It pays for itself.
Great lube, does what it says: keeps chain lubed, clean & quite.
This stuff sticks on the chain and hangs on. I've noticed it does pick up debris/dust, but that's happened with every lube I've tried. Could be the humidity where I ride, not sure. Makes the drive train silent though.
Not that we should be surprised. I have used and have recommended Pro Gold products since 2000. They're that good. Add this product to the list. It's easy to apply, not as intensive as some of the wax and teflon products and works really well. Worth a try if you're considering.
Works better then any other product I have tried. It is a cleaner as well so no messing with other fluids. Works great in the winter as well.
This product works great! Very easy to apply and help clean a chain.
This is pretty much all I would use for my chains. I use it on road and MTN bikes. Great value!
ProLink works best in dry, dusty conditions where a more oily, wet product would accumulate dirt. You'll appreciate how quiet your drivetrain will become after applying this product and how long a bottle will last. I recommend following the manufacturer's instructions in making sure the drivetrain is degreased before first application, but I'd also suggest allowing the product to dry before riding in dusty conditions. ProLink's weaknesses are poor (virtually non-existent) rust protection and need for frequent reapplication in dirty or wet conditions. I switch to Tri-Flow for riding in the wet conditions and salted roads of November-April in central PA.
Made in Georgia, so they should have an idea what we need here in the South East. Works well, and I've used it for many years now.
This came highly recommended, and has done a great job in maintaining my chain (and my friends' too). Smells slightly like lighter fluid, but gets the job done.
I use pro link on all the bikes in my household, with excellent results . chain wear is kept to a minimum and it keeps my chains running squeak free.
Love this chain lube would recommend it to any buddy
I'll Never Use Finish Line Again. Couldn't keep finish line lube on my chain for even a full ride. This stuff sticks and I can feel a difference for the whole ride. I usually hit a couple creek crossings and my chain goes through dust and mud all in the same ride. In all cases I prefer this stuff.
good stuff. need to reapply every couple of rides.
