Quest Slik Pak Black/Grey
The Quest Slik Pak will house all of your cycling necessities to ensure you have the tools for any situation that arrives. Made of extremely durable 600D nylon, the indestructible Slik Pak has a large rear zip opening for easy access, a light strap for rear LED tail light, reflective piping for added visibility, and a traditional strap mount to make installation as easy as possible. It comes in three sizes and will work with any seatpost and railed saddle combination.
This bag is probably fine for road bikes, but not for mountain. The seat post strap ripped from the bag on the 4th or 5th ride. I sewed that back up and all was fine for another ride or two, but then the stitching let go around the zipper in the back after a hard ride. I didn't over stuff the bag either, just one plastic tire tool, a lightweight tube and my iphone. I need to find something more beefy. I don't recommend for offroad riding.
The attachement straps totally ripped apart on the 3rd ride I had it. Granted, I'm super hard core on my 100mm xc bike (LOL), but just having a tube and a multi tool in here, going down a decent and this thing is dragging on my rear tire, I'm lucky it didn't get caught. Thought I was getting a great deal, should've put the money toward something better. Guess I'll just use some duct tape and bungee cords for now.
I usually make rides of 60 miles in lonely roads and i wanted a bag to carry all the stuff in case of emergency. I took the large size, and everything fits in there. A tube, tool, levers, keys, a couple of bars, the keys, oil, etc. The only weakness is that the strap adjustment (forward and backward) moves and the bag hangs in an odd way. Fix it using a plastic belt to fix the adjustment.
