RaceFace Strafe Grips with Locks
Often overlooked, the value of a good set of grips should not be underestimated. It is one of the three important points of contact between you and your bike. A good set of grips will offer you more control and lessen hand fatigue while riding.
I bought these for a full suspension build that was completed back in March. They are inexpensive and really good looking. After almost 3 months and at least 30 hours of hard trail riding they are still in perfect condition. Out of the box they are nice and tacky. They are a made of a hard rubber compound that does not flex with your grip. The locks and ends snap in very securely. I haven't had to tighten even once and the grips are still tacky. I have ridden in light rain with them and tend to sweat a lot in general. These do not get slippery when wet.
I have been using these grips since the beginning of last summer. I couldn't be happier. After having a few grips make my hands sore after every ride because they were small in diameter, I looked for some grips with a larger diameter but relatively "lower profile" (no raised portions). These fit the bill perfectly for me, they're beefy and provide all-day comfort for my large hands.
I have been using these grips for a long time now and i have to say they are fantastic: bigger in size so there is more to grab and the way they took all the fatigue and numb feeling out of my hands made me feel more comfortable when i ride now. good grip with or without gloves i recommend these to everyone wanting a set of grips that do what they say.
