Q: do all axle adapters come with this wheel set?

A: These wheels come with the all axle type adapters.

Q: Do these wheels require any additional components to run an 11 speed cassette? The previous axle question was kind of unclear: Do come with adapters for 20mm, 15mm and Quick Release front hub adapter and the 10 X 135mm, 12 X 142mm, and Quick Release rear hub?

A: This wheelset comes with a set of end caps for compatibility with most major axle standards. Includes: Front - QR, 15mm, and 20mm thru axle front end caps, Rear - QR and 12x142 thru-axle rear end caps. As for 11 speed, you will need to purchase a Reynolds 11 speed freehub driver. We do not sell this at the moment.

This review is to report my initial impressions, as I only used them once. They were tested it a 22-mile ride, on lots of single track, steep climbs, rock gardens, minor drops and jumps. They performed beautifully. Definitely lighter and stiffer than the stock wheels, what a difference on the climb and the bike feels more nimble on the turns. The bike feels a bit lighter and faster overall. These rims are pretty wide, the tubeless tires were a bit of a pain to install as they would not seal, you definitely need a compressor for this. The front comes with end caps for QR, 15mm, and 20mm. The rear fit right off the box with the 10x135 mm, I don't know about the 12x142. The kit comes with plenty of rim tape and valves with removable core, all good quality. I really like the look of these wheels, and the construction seems pretty sturdy. After taking some abuse on the first ride they are true as new. We'll see how they hold up in the long run. Supper happy with the upgrade, well worth it.

Reynolds AM Aluminum - May 08, 2015

Hi all, I've had this wheelset for 3 months now. For reference I've got 29 Easton Havens on my Stumpy, I've run Revolution 32's, Alexrims, Crank Bros and Bontragers as well. I run the Reynolds AM on my 29 Enduro Carbon with a 1 X 11 set up. The wheels come with tubeless rim tape, valve stems, end caps for all basic configurations, basic 9mm skewers, and all associated paperwork. These wheels replaced my stock Roval Traverse SL set. Reynolds makes wheels really stiff and I tell you, the difference is night and day. At 1750 grams they are pretty close to the factory weight with significant acceleration and and excellent rigidity. The Rovals were stiff, but compared to these bad boys their akin to noodles. The wheelset does not come with the 11 Speed SRAM Driver. I've checked the spoke tension 3 times and not a single spoke has lost tension. I only have two comments on the wheels other than how much I like them. 1. The wheels come in a single box, separated by slips of cardboard. The front hub rubbed against and piece of metal and on one spot I had a silver piece (where a spoke mounts) just worn down. That was a huge bummer, no functionality was lost, I just accepted it and mounted the wheels. 2. For 12 X 142 frames using the 1 X 11, the flange may need a few rides of tuning to get the spacing just right. I had it too tight initially and the freewheel wouldnt freewheel as the bike was ridden. It took me a few rides to get it dialed in.
