Ritchey Logic WCS Echelon Road Pedals
The all black exterior of the WCS Echelon is a very good indicator that these pedals are all business when you take a peek under the hood.
Essentially, Ritchey has taken the proven Look Keo pedal design and added their own touches. The low profile forged aluminum body rolls on a CroMoly spindle that's supported by three types of bearings- needle, ball and bushing. At the underside of the composite "claw" is adjustable release tension that's very easy to set thanks to a built-in indicator.
The WCS Echelon includes a Keo compatible cleat with 9 degrees of float. When the inevitable happens and the cleats wear out, you can simply replace them with a set of Keo cleats.
The WCS Echelon pedals install with a 6mm Allen key and have an in-house measured weight of 256g. Cleats and hardware tip our scale at approximately 70g for a grand total of 326g.
