I have taken the Pike to every trail in Costa Rica and bike park in FLorida. Its versatility is unmatched... you can set it up to feel like a 1970's cadillac or to respond as a dirt buggy. Extremely firm when locked.
This for has been amazing! It is really plush and smooth throughout the travel. It does not ride to low in its travel and the adjustments really make a good impact on performance. I added one of the tokens to slightly increase the progression to fit my type of terrain better. I could not ask for any better performance overall.
This fork is plush and progressive, and works how a suspension fork should. I've been running it for 6 months now, and have zero issues. I highly recommend this fork and cannot see how someone could not be happy with it. This is a far better fork than anything else out there on the market.
