Given the cost of this item, I did quite a bit of research, and ultimately took a blind leap and purchased this one. First off, you get a lot of extras in the box, which is always a nice bonus. I was replacing a 2011 Rockshox Reba RLT ti Tapered, 20mm axle. The SID is lighter, but seems every bit as stiff as the Reba. The low speed compression is not as supple as I would like, but I suspect it will take a bit more time to get the fork properly broken in. The solo air and 3 position dampening is simple, but effective. I wouldn't pay the full list price for this fork, but it you can catch one on sale, certainly worth considering.
