Love Sram chains - Jul 07, 2015

I'm a Shimano guy for most other stuff but Sram chains have served me well for 20 years. The included quick link is awesome (beats the snot out of the Shimano pin). The 1051 works great with my 10sp XT drive train as well as my X9.

Not all chains are equal - Apr 11, 2015

I run Shimano components on my MTB and BMX bikes, but NEVER run Shimano Chains. Sram resist the stretch so much more.

can't go wrong! - Apr 23, 2014

Unless you're a weight weenie racer type smelling for every gram to shed with disregard for high cost ---> GO FOR IT! I use it 3-4 times a week in hot and cold, wet and dusty, all year mtb riding. Multiple stream crossings every ride, mud, snow, steep climbs, etc. Lasts about 1000 kilometres and shifts smooth all the way to the unavoidable. All that while being cheap and super easy to install. I'm hooked.
