Great inexpensive chain! - Jun 06, 2014

I've been using SRAM chains for several years. This model is excellent, I routinely can leave it on for two seasons of rough riding. Never or extremely rarely slips (it's my own fault when it does). Can be hard to clean but that may because I moved to an dry, windy area between two major highways and a railroad line, so there is a lot of nasty soot in the air. At my old location I never had problems keep it clean.

Love the SRAM Chains - Apr 30, 2014

I upgraded my drivetrain and I finally got this new SRAM chain with the powerlink. I'd heard about them, and the hype is for real. So much easier than master links and chain breakers. And nice to be able to get one for my older 8-speed cassette setup!

Powerlinks Rule! - Nov 05, 2013

With this chain, you only need the chain breaker to cut this baby to length, no need to re-rivet it back together. And no need to fiddle with 3 piece master links. Put that powerlink on, stomp it tight and go ride!
