READ MY REVIEW ON THE 2013 MODEL! Only difference is, you'll be saving more dough on this 12 year model! Will your friends know it's not a 2013? Will they care? Will they be out with you in a pub and say, "Your bike sux because you have a 2012 Sram cassette on the rear and not a 2013?" Trust me, this 12 is just as good as the 13 and will save you dough. This is my cassette of choice and I can say it's durable, long lasting, at least two to three seasons of single track around here, with tons of uphill climbs that I torque it hard on and it wears ever so slowly so you'll get a lot out of it! WELL WORTH the price! And I'm a cheap #ss. Trust me. If you're a weight weenie than go blow your dough on lighter versions but this one is for those that can pedal their bike up hill and not take the lift.

SRAM says SCRAM to Shimano! - Jun 07, 2013

I bought this cassette SOOOOO many times I can't count. I love this cassette! It's the BEST DEAL on Pricepoint for a part that wears fairly fast and costs a a lot at the bike shop to put a new one on! While my bikes have always come with the more expensive lighter Sram cassettes, when they eventually wear out, I replace them with the heavier cheaper priced stuff like Sram X9 over the X0 stuff that's much pricier for the lighter weight thingy. But when it comes to replacement cassettes, I'm sold on this one! I ALWAYS replace my cassette with this model. 2012, 2013, what's the difference? Sram keeps building this same incredibly durable cassette year after year. Why change it? This is the best replacement if you're not a weight weenie! I STRONGLY suggest you buy it with the Pricepoint Chain Whip tool and Rear Cassette Puller like I did and you can now SAVE a ton of dough on what the bike shops charge you at $60/hr labor to put it on and then they want to sell you their over priced cassette for tens of dollars more than Pricepoint! GHAAAD!! It's SO easy with the tools and you're going to use them again to put another cassette on and putting a cassette on you can do in like 5 minutes! It's so easy to remove and replace when you have the tools! SAVE DOUGH MAN! If you buy this cassette, trust me, buy the cheapest chain whip and cassette puller on Pricepoint and you'll be fixing all your buddies bikes to save them dough too! That's what I do! ;)
