Showing Questions 1 of 1

Q: What is the diameter of the GXP bottom bracket? My frame bottom bracket inside diameter is about 35mm with 68mm width. Will it fit?

A: GXP bottom bracket = 68/73 and the traditional inside shell diameter is 34MM (while BB30 uses a 42MM inside diameter for example) therefore it will work !

Great Price, but the middle ring wore too quickly (less than a year) and had some bent/broken tips causing chain drops. May be product, may be rider... Just had to order new middle ring...

Excellent crank - Jun 09, 2014

As others have written, this was too good a buy for my budget bike build. For years I've used the same crank without issues but I made the switch to SRAM. Crank is smooth, light, looks killer and installed easily. Time will tell how long its gonna last but I've only heard good things about SRAM.

I used this crank on a bike I built and it's as good as any I've owned, for the money you can't go wrong, light and responsive, I am running all sram x9 components shifters and chain.

Surpisingly light, Sram for low $, good quality - Apr 09, 2014

Surprisingly light, compare to much more $ cranks. Seem strong. Had to replace cranks on girlfriend's nomad, went for savings, was surprised at how nice they were. Way lighter than the truvatic stylo that were on there. When my raceface xc cranks failed on my nomad (I am 240 lbs., few too many jumps on the xc cranks), I bought these, and so far so good. They are slightly heavier, (ya, not xc cranks),but still quite light, shift well, Sram for exc price.

Just what I needed - Sep 29, 2013

Install was a breeze on a 2005 Turner Flux rebuild. I am pretty harsh on my bikes, riding reasonably technical trails and weighing in at 210 lbs. I bash the big ring on logs at least once per ride. I've probably put over 100 miles on it since April, and everything looks new (dirty, but otherwise new.) Shifting is perfect with x9 shifters and derailleur. I'm thinking about buying another one for my hard tail.

Great Value - Sep 09, 2013

This crankset is a huge upgrade to many stock bikes! I have had zero issues with the X7 cranks and it all mates well with my X9 front derailleur. The best part about this set was moving from a Shimano octalink system to Srams GXP. It is lighter weight, and way easier to install or uninstall. Only caveat is you need different tools for GXP so if you do your own work and already had the tools for a different BB type you would have to purchase some more. But then you will just stick with GXP!

Semi-good deal - Jul 02, 2013

Overall a good product, but beware the installation. The first crank i received had a wobble of about 1mm, a big no-no for riding on. However, i sent it back and PP honored its warranty. So far, no problems on the new crank.

I got this crank in a whole sram set, it was a great buy! It was an update to my whole bike, now it rides so much faster and easier. It is a lot lighter than my previous crank, so the whole bike feels lighter. Good buy for the price.

Great Crankset - May 14, 2013

Excellent crankset for an older/budget build. It's a great price on a quality crankset. Easy to install..follow torque spec....have not creaked or made a sound all through this past wet Fall,Winter and Spring. I picked up the 180mm which fit me well..long legs. They shift well and were easy to setup..no complaints at all. The only change I made was to remove the outer ring and install a bashguard.
