I've had this derailleur for a while now & I gotta say it is a worthy investment for your drivetrain. I'm usually not a top-of-the-line kind of person but I'm glad I ponied up for this shifter. It's simple to set up & dial in. I've only had to make a couple minor tweaks over the past couple years & those were probably due to cable stretch rather than derailleur issues. SRAM's cable routing is so much better than Shimano's in my opinion. With SRAM there is no loop of cable dangling precariously off the back of your bike like Shimano has & I've caught a few Shimano derailleurs on rocks, resulting in good times ending immediately. If you haven't had this happen yet, it will eventually. But this won't happen on a SRAM derailleur. If I were to wake up tomorrow to discover the derailleur gremlins had made off with my derailleur in the night, I would replace it with another X.O derailleur for sure.
