EXCELLENT CHOICE - Jun 14, 2014

I purchased this tire at the recommendation of my riding partners who all roll with Schwalbe. I installed this on the front of my 2013 Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Expert. I was somewhat skeptical of all the praise this tire had been given, but after riding on it today I am a believer. The reduced rolling weight from my stock Purgatory was felt instantly. I felt faster and attacked the corners with confidence without the side to side roll I got with my stock tires. I am going to upgrade the rear with the Rocket Ron next. Im glad I made this purchase, worth every penny.

Great All Arounder - Apr 23, 2014

I bought these and mounted on my new Ellsworth Evolution purchased at PP. I mounted them on Mavic Crossmax SLR. I was about to buy a 27.5 bike because of the detectable 'spin-up' difference between a 27.5 and the last several mountain bikes I have had which have been 29ers. I was looking for a light 29 tire, a 2.25-2.3, that was good all around (I don't have a team mechanic), to run tubeless with Stan's. Never used Schwalbes before, and these were quiet a bit more than other candidates (Maxxis and a Conti), but I think I made a good decision. The grip predictably, they roll great, they look great. They spin up much 'lighter' feeling than the last 29er tire i had which was a Maxxis Crossmark. They don't seem quiet as grippy at the Crossmark, but just detectably so. The best 29er tire I have tried for my purposes. Wish they were cheaper!
