Great Frame - Sep 29, 2013

I got this frame as an Xmas gift as I had wanted to build a 29er. This is a very nice frame, I built it up with rigid specialized carbon fork and XO/X9 2x10 drive train, and stan's ARCH EX. Came in at 20.5 with pedals and cages. It is fast, I mean as fast as you can push it will go, from hilly single track to tight switchbacks it handles amazing. I can see where others have said it is a bit harsh due to its stiffness, but I can live with it. I would build another in a second, for the price you can not compare. Fit wise, I am 6'2" and the 19" is great with setback post and 120mm stem. I have about 1,000 miles on it so far and am completely satisfied. Just hope it holds up.

Great frame for the price - Sep 26, 2013

I bought this frame a couple of months ago and built it up full Shimano XT with Stans Arch wheels, Rock shox reba and Maxxis crossmark tires. Weighed in at 23lbs even which was kind of a shock to me as beefy as the frame is. The first thing I noticed is it is stiff. I mean really stiff. Climbing it is a beast. I think I will tear the drive train off before it ever flexes. Handles like a dream and it was built for smooth single track. The harder you push it the better it handles. My only complaint so far is the stiffness makes it a little harsh in rocks but not too bad. The only reason that I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is the 3rd ride I broke the deraileur hanger and there isn't a replacement readily available so it took me a little bit to get one for Price Point. There customer service was great as always and fixed me up as soon as they could. For the price I don't think you will find a better frame anywhere.

Impressive! - May 12, 2013

I decided I wanted to build a carbon 29er hard tail. I asked my semi-pro racer, bike shop mechanic friend how to start and he said, "buy a Sette". This was surprising considering his shop carries all high end brands. My bike is now together and I don't see how it could be better. Internal cable routing (including the rear disc brake), chain stay post mount, fit and finish are top notch. price point nailed it!
