I do long rides on my mountain bike and these things are great....without padded gloves these are more comfortable than my old grips with gel gloves. With gloves on they do what grips should do: Disappear instead of distract. Hardest part of installation was getting the old grips out of the way.

Comfortable grip, with the flare that is nice when riding upright to allow the rider to rest their palms on the flare and extend their fingers to give them a rest. Also really like the Alan screws for positioning and security so as to be sure they will stay in position.

Buy better grips. - Apr 14, 2013

Do not buy these grips. Give the extra $2.50 and get the better Sette grips. The set screw clamping method does not hold the grips from turning and if I ride something difficult where I'm really putting power to the pedals it's easy to have the grips turn. On the bright side it's easy to turn them back to the original position.
