Bought this to use the wheel on a Blackspire stinger to tension for SS using ISCG 05 tabs with bad luck. Decided to just use this how intended and have had no issues for hundreds of miles. I have not experienced any slippage or stripping of the bolt like another reviewer. This seems to be a great cheap way to convert to SS. I have it paired with a Surly 20T steel cog, 8 speed chain, race face non N/W chainring, and a eBay spacer kit on a steel frame with vertical dropouts.

Resurrect Your Dusty Old 26" Hardtail - Apr 12, 2015

Pretty beefy design and not abnoxiously buzzy. Not light but super cheap....great combo for converting your old forgotten 26" hardtail into something new/fun/challenging. I put this on a 20 year old Cannondale hardtail and the dropout area wasn't one continuous flat area like most modern designs. Love if you included a very up close pic of it installed so people like me (dah need a pic!) will understand if their old bike fits this application. Thanks.

The bolt strips too easily. Difficult to tighten down to keep proper tension.

I have used this for about 3 years on my bacl-up bike that I converted to single speed. Works as advertised, no issues.
