Sette Forza Elite Dura-Ace Carbon Road Bike
Sette's release of the Forza Elite proves that it's possible to have two bikes that earn the right to claim top of the line status.
The differences between the Forza Elite and the Forza are so few they can be counted on one hand.
Most notably a traditional seatpost has been substituted for the Integrated Seat Mast on the Forza Elite. For many riders, a traditional seatpost provides a measure of practicality and versatility that outweighs the edge of the envelope performance advantage enabled by an Integrated Seat Mast.
Otherwise, the two frames are identical right down to the internal cable routing. Both are hand crafted from the same 3K high modulus carbon fiber with the same precise geometry that is anchored by the same full carbon, tapered fork.
The component spec remains a jaw dropper with Dura-Ace 7900 used throughout. You will not find a lesser Shimano part tucked away anywhere on the bike. Mavic's Cosmic Carbone SL wheelset is fitted with Vittoria's Open Corsa EVO CX tires giving you one of the best wheel and tire combinations on the planet. Fizik's venerable Arione saddle provides a key contact point. 3T's Ergonova Pro handle bar and Arx Pro Stem provide a solid and reliable front end.
Without pedals, a 57cm Forza Elite weighs 16.33 pounds.

I purchased this bike in 2012 and thought I'd try road biking as I was dating an avid "roady" who'd done the LOTOJA 4 times (LOgan, ut TO JAckson, wy). (For over 18 years, I've pounded trails and mountain roads as a mountain rider.) I was on her support crew and saw the beauty of road biking and became more and more interested in this sport. This weekend (June 7 - 8) my wife (the LOTOJA lady mentioned earlier), another couple and myself did the Rockwell Relay - Moab, UT to St. George, UT. A 527 mile relay. I rode this bike on legs 3, 7 & 11...around 156 miles. This was my first road event ever! The Geometry, stock saddle fit me perfectly. (By the way, I am NOT a small rider, either 245 lbs) I averaged on 2 of my 3 rides over 14.5 MPH and one ride 17.2 MPH!!! In the year that I've owned this bike, I've clocked up somewhere around 2,000 miles. I've tried to "break" it and with my strength and riding it "hard" and it won't break. This bike is tough and reliable!!! Believe me! I know firsthand! The carbon gives a firm, but forgiving ride. The Mavic Cosmic deep dish (55 mm??) rims are great for going into headwinds, but CAUTION should be used when attempting to plow through with a strong (15+ MPH) crosswind...it can be rather exciting???!!! The bike climbs like nothing I've ever tried before. The Shimano Dura-Ace components are perfect; lightweight, strong and precise. Adjusting can be done on-the-fly and they keep for the next up or down shift. Next year, I am planning on taking this bike on the LOTAJA ride with my wife as this will be her last year of doing that ride. If I were asked if I'd buy this bike again, my answer is "YES"...in a heartbeat! I get a lot of comments on how attractive the bike is. When others view the components, they are very impressed with it's weight and component group. What you get for the money is 40 to 50% more than some bike shops. You really have nothing to lose with PricePoint.com as you can always ship it back if you're not satisfied or if it doesn't fit you just right. As for sizing, it seems to be just as advertised. The sizing chart is absolutely correct...at least for me. I'm 6' 1" and the XL frame fits me perfectly with room for a taller rider if needed. Hope this helps someone out there. Rodney Johnson.
