Q: Does this trainer can be use on a 29er MTB? and what tire can you recommend to use? thanks
A: The trainer is designed for use with road bikes. It is possible to use it with a 29-inch mountain bike, but not with standard mountain-bike tires. You would have to use a tire with a maximum size of 700x32c and a standard 9mm quick release.

I ordered this trainer once I had shoulder surgery to keep my legs in shape. My mountian bike fit right in the trainer without any problems using the supplied skewer. Very straight forward design and stable while putting the power down.
