PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Sette Razzo 29er Alloy Hardtail Frame

By popular demand, the Razzo 29er has gone commando. Sette loves the double-butted 7005 aluminum tubing and beautiful welds so much they wanted to show them off. Here they are for the world to see.

Everything else that has made the Razzo a rockstar on trails around the world remains. It is still one of the lightest 29er frames on the market at a scant 3.50 lbs or 1580 grams (for those metrically inclined). Thanks to its 29er specific geometry it still handles like a Lotus driven by a Pretty Woman and will climb like Monster Tajima up Pikes Peak.

When the trail decides to bite back, the Razzo will live to ride another day thanks to a replaceable derailleur hanger. If you lusted after its ball burnished and painted forefathers then you'll definitely love the stripped down Razzo.

Oversize/overweight charge applies to this item.

Please Note: Bikes & Frames can only be shipped via GROUND SHIPPING.

Excellent frame! A very cool finish with no paint on it, and the weight are incredible, you could be sure that you will have an very good quality cheap frame.

The Sette Razzo-Dazzo Supreme - May 15, 2014

I found out about this frame from my son, an expert MTB racer. With parts stacked up on my shelves, I purchased this frame and built it up with mid-level components that I mostly had on hand. After completion, I took it out with my friend to ride some highly technical terrain here in Utah on it's first outing. "I was blown away at the way it handled and climbed." I normally ride a $8000 carbon-fiber race bike, and this thing was on par with it in every way. I was speechless. All the reviews echo what I'm saying. After the ride, I thought what it would be like to build this thing up with high-end, ultra-light weight components. Wow, that would be cool! Probably around 20 lbs. I guess. I think I'll buy a second one and do just that! You can't go wrong here...BUY IT! You'll love it!

This frame is an absolutely amazing, especially for the price! I bought this farm 2 seasons ago and have ridden it hard 2-3x per week on rough trails with no issues. I have it set up as a 1x10 and couldn't be happier. The geometry is comfortable and has little flex. I'm considering buying another frame just as a back up or project bike.

Only one thing wrong - Apr 24, 2014

The price is amazing, the welds are good, the frame is light, and I fit an 8" rotor on the back! I Have been ridding a 22" Razzo for two years and the only thing I don't like is the small diameter seat tube. There aren't very many 27.2 dropper seat posts on the market and I really like being able to drop the seat. Other than that you can't beat the price. If they make next years model with a larger seat post diameter I will buy it.

I have recently built up this frame into my first full rigid 29er. The quality on the frame is great! Welds look perfect. Very light and has proven to be a great ride. Would strongly recommend this to anyone.

Buy one! You won't regret it! - Apr 23, 2014

One of the best inexpensive frames I have ever owned. Just as light and strong as the high end frames out there for a fraction of the cost. I build bikes as a word of mouth hobby and have directed 3 people to buying one off these frames as their base for a quality, light, durable, inexpensive mountain bike. I personally own a Sette Razzo raw in medium and let people test ride it when contemplating building a 29er mountain bike. Buy one! You won't regret it! Matt Kuretich

Stellar deal - Apr 22, 2014

MEDINA, OH

To be perfectly honest, I did not want a lot of $ tied up in a HARD TAIL 29'r. At $150.00, I am super impressed with this frame. Welds look pretty darn good, and it rides stiff and strong. The finish is also pretty nice, although I wish they would not have cleared over the decals. I have done everything from XC trails, to over the road rides/gravel road rides, to All Mountain type riding on it. Geometry is pretty neutral and predictable. Handles well over all. Bottom line - you cannot go wrong with this frame at $150!

good bike frame - Apr 19, 2014

I purchased the Sette Razzo as a complete bike. It's a good bike, very versatile. This is the same frame, and for the money it's tough to find a better deal. I have ridden my bike as a mountain bike and raced it, and also converted to a very capable gravel bike by simply putting on CX tires and a rigid fork. lots of options with this frame.

So, my friend purchased one of these on sale, and it's a well put together frame. Light, strong, looks good. At the current price of $175, nothing touches this deal. Put together an amazing bike for a little over $1k. Done. Well done.

Super light, takes a 225 lb. beating, and looks great! Raw version shimmers in the sun, with little brush marks that sparkle, looks like no other frame. My bud and I both bought, and he loves his. I have the black one, but I guess they don't carry it any more. It looks great and the paint holds up well. Great job guys!

Fun frame - Apr 03, 2014

Saugus, CA

Well, I bought this frame a few months ago and built it as a single speed rigid mtb. Really a fun build on a CRAZY light hard-tail frame. My initial response to this frame was- Im probably going to fold it, but after riding it a bit- I'm very impressed. Im a really heavy rider at 265#, and i feel that this frame will be just fine. Im not pushing it running downhill or anything, but just cruising around lightly having fun- its been awesome. I will have to agree with some of the other reviews here: it does seem as though the finish on some of them isnt 100% but it still looks cool. Mine only had a singular small scratch on the seatpost tube- otherwise, im happy with it. :)

This is a fantastic frame. I ride in the Arkansas Ozarks through large boulder fields two or three times a week on this frame. It handles very well and has never disappointed me. I will defiantly buy another one in the future.

Great Frame, even better Customer Service - Apr 02, 2014

DES MOINES, IA

I originally bought the black and white version of the same frame, it developed some cracks around the seat tube and seat stays -- I'm 250lbs so a bit bigger than the average bear. Contacted PP, they were great to deal with and we got everything sorted out. I had a new frame replaced under warranty, switched to the raw this time, without fuss. The raw is the better looking frame by far, don't bother with the zebra it's nowhere near as good looking. Also the frame is super light, which may be part of the cause of the cracks but you have to compromise somewhere to "add lightness".

Initial take: so far so good... - Dec 13, 2013

1 2 3 4 5

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA

Just took delivery of a Razzo frame today...full build won't be for a while, but the frame looks real decent for $150. I put it on the scale and it is right at 3.5 lbs for an 18''. Not bad AT ALL for the price. The raw/brushed finish with clear coat is pretty cool looking. There's a few scratches in the tubing underneath the clear coat where apparently the brushing wheel hit the tube the wrong way; but they're minor, and covered in clear coat, so no worries about oxidation. And for the price, I'm not expecting a Joe Bell paint job. Secured the rear wheel into the dropouts and everything looks aligned. Tire clearance is snug...a 2.3 would be absolute max. The 2.2 I have is probably as big as I'd go. Can't wait to get it built up!!!

Great value - Nov 04, 2013

Son bought this in an to upgrade from a 16" 29er HT he previously had. Built it up (swapped parts over) last week. Frame is nice -- no problems in the build; welds are acceptable; frame is aligned. BB threads weren't chased, but cups threaded in fine, with some effort. Light weight -- the 18" frame was something like 3.5#. Son loves it; says it rides great, not too stiff. Giving it 4* -- great value, but attention to detail could be better. No complaints for the price paid. Also, Price Point packaged this frame exceptionally well for shipping. Two double-wall boxes.

I built up this frame as a single speed with a bunch of parts I had around the garage, plus I bought a pretty good wheelset. Pretty light, good handling, and you can't beat the price. I sold it after a couple of years, but not because of any issue. I was happy with it, but I moved to a ti ss. It's hard to find a better value for you money if you're looking for a 29er frame.
