Sette Reken Alloy Hardtail Frame
A gem of a lightweight frame. The Reken features a gusseted head tube, replaceable derailleur hanger, machined dropouts, disk and v-brake compatibility, hydraulic cable braze-ons and the exclusive Sette seatpost quick release. If you're worried that a 6061 T6 aluminum lightweight frame isn't strong, then you will want to know about the reinforced and oversized downtube and the curved stays which are held together using a full bead weld. The only way you are really going to find out is to have one of these exclusive frames for yourself.

I needed a replacement frame and I didn't want to spend too much. This frame fit the budget. It doesn't have fancy decals, but for $99 what more can you ask for. The frame looks and feels very well built. the matte paint fit perfectly with the rest of my components. Black on black baby!!

I purchased this frame back in 2006 and I am still riding it today. I've worn through several iterations of components but the frame rides solid to this day. For the price, you just can not beat this frame.

I purchased this frame as a replacement for an old imported Russian titanium frame (Wolf Creek) which finally cracked after 12 or so years. I had a nice Mavic rim brake wheel set so having v-brake tabs was important. The frame built up perfectly and it's as good, if not better, than the frame it replaced. The head tube seemed to be positioned higher than the old frame, so I though I might have to convert my fork from 80mm to 100, but I tried it with the 80mm travel and it handles perfectly. The matte black finish is good looking too. 5 stars, especially at this price.
