Sette's top of the line just got a little higher. The envelope pushing 3K High Modulus Serum ISM frame is now a showcase for Shimano's next generation XTR groupset. Every part that can be XTR is XTR. There are no short cuts when it comes to component spec.Shimano's latest XTR line up is nothing short of game changing. Once your eyes adjust to the high polished shine that harkens back to the original XTR group, you'll see that every component has been completely redesigned. The most significant change is bumping up the drive train from 9 to 10 speeds. This just wasn't a case of squeezing an extra cog onto a cassette.

Shimano completely re-engineered the philosophy behind shifting with Dyna-Sys technology. Shifts have never been faster and more precise and the truly expansive gear range has never been more useable.An equally top shelf assortment of components rounds out the mix, an FSA cockpit and a Fox 32 F-100 RLC FIT fork take care of business up front and Kenda Kosmic Lite tires keep this featherweight speed machine firmly anchored to the ground.In a 19" size with an uncut seat mast our digital scale displays a fighting weight of 19.84lbsIdeally, if you're considering the Serum ISM you're the type of rider who can rattle off your seat height quicker than your phone number.

If you're not, it's not a problem but it makes this next part much more important.Trimming the seat mast to size is a pretty straightforward process and everything you need is included down to the carbon fiber friendly hacksaw but we can't stress enough the importance of the old adage "measure twice and cut once."The Serum's mast cap provides up to 15mm of adjustment.

This is plenty of room to account for future changes in equipment that can affect your seat height such as pedals, shoes and saddles.If you're at all unsure about your "proper seat height" we highly recommend getting a professional fitting before setting up the Serum ISM. When you're making an investment in professional level equipment it only makes sense to invest yourself as well.*Price Point will not accept any returns on Serum ISMs that have had their seat mast cut for any reason.
