Showing Questions 1 of 1

Q: The description says that these are SPD-R compatible. Looking at the picture, there is no 2 hole vertical mount. Is there some kind of adapter that comes with the shoe to work with the old SPD-R cleat mount?

A: Yes these shoes will work with all types of cleats.

If you aren't looking for a super light weight shoe you can't go wrong with these. I was a little skeptical because of the low price but I have been thoroughly impressed. If they still have a size grab a pair you won't be disappointed.

Great Entry Into Clipping In - Apr 23, 2014

TALLAHASSEE, FL

These aren't you Sidis, or anything pro, but if you're thinking about clipping in and taking advantage of the full range of motion in your cycling, these are a great jumping-off point. THe platform is sturdy, and provides excellent energy transfer to the pedals, and set-up is easy. The enclosure leaves something to be desired, but for the money they have held up over a year now, and many miles.

Cool, classy and secure minus $$$ - Jan 27, 2014

The three velcro straps are positioned perfectly to avoid pinching. Be careful with the middle one if you have a high arch. The tongue is not padded. After a few rides I enhanced them and sewed a padded tongue under the existing tongue down to the midfoot and now there is no ankle discomfort. If you use Look style cleat you will want to secure the two bolt mount from swishing around causing a jingle sound as you rotate in higher rpm. When you do that be mindful of the included bolts, you only need one to do the job. They are cooling and after 27 miles my socks are not soaked as they would be in my enclosed shoes. The sole is rigid allowing for maximum push. 200 miles, so far so good. I ordered a 45 for my 11 1/4 narrow foot and find the toe box roomy. I have a repaired ankle and plenty of past ankle injury and find plenty of adjustment and security in fitment.
