5 stars for da Money - Apr 30, 2014

What can I say; price does matter. This is a very good brake for the money. Performance (stopping) is strong and so is the adjustment. Very easy to set up. I like everything about this brake especially the color. It's silver, but a bit darker, kinda like gunmetal, but not really.

Great Brakes - Apr 24, 2014

I tried Ultegra and Dura Ace and quite frankly I couldn't tell the difference! The action of the quality of braking is more about the brake pads, weight on the bike, the tires and their adhesion to the road then is about the mechanical function. I got the silver version which looks great on my bike. The 105 in my opinion is the sweet spot in the Shimano line, reasonable price and weight and great renown durability.

Ok, I know why you would pay more, but if you are watching your pennies instead of your grams, then 105 is the way to go. Top performance at a good price. And I like the black color scheme.
