The Dura-Ace ST-9000 mechanical Dual control levers represent a considerable leap forward over the benchmark 7900 levers. Shimano has been hard at work to reduce both lever throw and friction.
- Lever stroke has been reduced 30% for improved shifting performance
- New pivots and cable positioning have helped reduce rear shifting by up to 47% when compared to the 7900
- Reduced friction thanks to new shifter cables coated with an improved polymer giving riders less drag
- Smaller, sleeker hoods deliver improved ergonomics for a better ride and control
- 10mm reach adjustment that is compatible with 11-speed units
