Shimano's new SM-RT68 Center-Lock disc brake rotors further reduce heat in the braking system. These rotors are designed to be fantastic at shedding mud and light weight too. These rotors are available in various sizes, allowing riders to custom tune the braking performance according to ride conditions, terrain, and rider size.
Purchased and installed on an XC bike, easy to install with a cassette removal tool and a wrench. Plenty of stopping power, easy to bleed, and don't do what I did and get oil on the pads when you bleed brakes. Solid rotor for a good price!
That little aluminum spider kills me. Does it really help? I don't know. Are these center lock and therefore superior in terms of safety to every six bolt rotor out there? Yes. Yes, they are.
Good value for a solid rotor. I have the 180mm front and 160mm rear. Easy to mount with the hub tool. No squeals and good stopping power.
