As a beginner of recently going clip-less, I felt these shoes would the best choice. And, I do not regret it! I use these for AM biking. If I need to step off or hike a bike these shoes work great since they have a wide base. Highly recommend for first time clip-less users.

I purchased in the past the shoes for my day to day ride. Urban, road and mountain. I'm not a racer but these shoes are so confortable in any circunstance. Great conception and so confortable. You can ride all they long and you forget to remove it ! I know it's for DH and AM but the thing I like the most it's to be confortable. Nice buy for any circunstance !

Nice Shoe but hot - Oct 04, 2013

I got these as I prefer a fuller shoe than a traditional spd, and they ride great. Awesome support, comfortable, and the lace cover is spectacular to have. I mostly ride all mountain terrain, and they are great for the hike a bike rides too. The only negative I can think of is that they are super hot, as you can probably tell from looking at them. Its not really an issue though, just wash ya socks more often, kid.
