Shimano Ultegra 6700 STI Shifters
Enhanced with Dura Ace technology, the new Ultegra shifters are stunning to say the least. Carbon fiber lever blades, internal cable routing, stepless reach adjustments, and the new ergonomics bring Ultegra back into the super high end group it was started as. Incorporating the Super SLR increased brake cable pull, you can use these beauties on 6700 or 7900 series brakes.

I had numerous Shimano group sets over the years, and then went to SRAM Force and Red with the last three bikes. Now, after test riding the new Dura Ace and Ultegra, I'm back on Shimano. This stuff shifts like jewelry...a very fine, light yet positive, click. And the new shifter shape (to me anyway) feels good in my hands. Add that these come with the new Shimano PTFE housing and cable (less tightly wound than D/A, but PTFE just the same) and its hard for me to imagine someone would barf up the extra $1000 for DI2. Excellent...5 stars for performance and value. I couldn't bring myself to spend the extra grand for Dura Ace when this is oh so close.
