The Dominator Fit is Sidi's new version of its best-selling MTB shoe, the Dominator 5. It features a new fabric called Technofiber, which replaces the old Lorica. Technofiber is water resistant, breathable, and supple. The Competition sole of the shoe provides great traction and sheds mud easily so your feet won't be caked in muck. A micro-adjustable strap buckle means getting the shoe secure around your foot is no problem. The Fit is an excellent do-it-all MTB shoe that will be sure to keep you happy.
Do your toes often get cold while riding? Keep 'em toasty with booties.
My Dominator's have lasted longer than any other mountain bike shoes I've owned. After 10+ years, they're still going strong with no signs of needing to be retired. If these ever wear out I will certainly purchase another pair. They're stiff but comfortable on the feet, and easy to adjust while riding. The only time I switch shoes is winter riding in the snow, where I go to fully-insulated boots.
The best fitting, best feeling, nicely adjustable shoe out there! If you do a lot of steep terrain on a regular basis, and throw in hike-a -bike sections, I highly reccomend good cleats to improve toe traction. My Dominator 2's are over 10 years old, and are still my go to winter shoe.
