i carefully measured using the provided sizing guide. got the LARGE. too small! returned it and got the XL. still too small! apparently the ONLY DIFFERENCE is the XL has slightly thinner cheek pads! beware if you're an asian w/ high cheek bones LOL so i ended up just modding it. fits great now. awesome helmet for the price.

This would be a great helmet even if you paid msrp. It looks much more expensive than it actually cost, is supper light weight and very comfortable. $90 is a good deal $45 is a steal. I love this helmet!

Great helmet, light, comfortable, breathes well. Looks very nice, and it's an awesome deal. A curved GoPro mount works very well on top. I've always found 661 gear to be very good quality products at very reasonable prices. Another reviewer said he normally take a large but this was a little small on him, but I take a large too and it was perfect on me.

I just bought this helmet on sale. It is great. Especially for the money. I would have gave it 5 stars except for one minor thing. The placement of the chin strap is to far back. This would be different on someone else with a different shaped head. All in all this is a great helmet and even better for the sale price.

Great Helmet For The Price - Apr 12, 2015

Fort Collins, CO

This helmet was totally rad out of the box and no adjustment required. I have been using it for both BMX racing and Mountain Biking. The helmet is light enough to use cross-country on cold days and is breathable enough to not overheat your noggin in warmer weather. I would recommend this helmet to anyone out there. SixSixOne has quality products and stands behind them. Great helmet for the price!

This helmet looks and feels like an MX helmet. It's beautiful and well constructed. Fits nice and snug with plenty of padding, and I can't believe the price, under $45 bucks. It's well worth it.

Great Helmet! - Apr 11, 2015

Overall, this helmet cannot be beat. The price is great, it is light weight, looks great and breathes. The only thing lacking is the way the strap fastens. Securing and undoing the strap with gloved hands is a little awkward. You can always change the strap later on.

Want to protect your beautiful face? - Apr 11, 2015

I got this helmet 2 years ago. Crashed once on a jump. The thing destroyed itself on impact but it saved my life. The lightweight and well vented 661 comp is a must have for any type of rider who is looking for a little more protection than a half shell, but still wants a lightweight and cool helmet. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Excellent low-cost protection for your dome - Feb 27, 2015

I finally stepped up to a full-face helmet recently as my riding progresses, and I picked this guy up from pricepoint. Man, am I glad I did; the first time I wore it, I hit the ground hard face-first...it probably saved me from a broken jaw. It absorbed the brutal impact, and apart from a few scratches, is still solid (as is my face, fortunately). It's pretty lightweight, and has plenty of airflow to keep you cool. And in my opinion, the styling is top-notch. My only complaint is that I usually wear a Large, but the large Comp is a little snug. But for the price, I won't complain; I love this helmet! Get one, you won't be disappointed.

Best value for the money - Feb 12, 2015

Renton, WA

I just love this helmet because for the price, it gives other full face helmets in the $100-250 range a run for the money. The helmet in quality isn't cheap. 1. It feels as light as $300 helmets I've tried. 2. Open face area doesn't feel very constricted. 3. Head breathe ability is good for a full face. 4. Comfortable and looks as good as the pictures. The only, only con I can think of with this helmet is that it doesn't have the emergency ejection padding seen in the more expensive helmets but it is hands down, I spent under $70 and am blown away that this helmet impressed me faster than any TLD, Bell and Giro. It's worth every penny!

Solid Helmet. As with all full face it is a bit hot but your jaw and teeth are worth it.
