I wanted a tough wheelset for a fully rigid build. I was a bit nervous about these wheels having only 28 spokes considering I'm around 215 geared up. They needed a very small amount of truing after the initial break in, but have kept straight since. The fact that the front wheel is 9/15/20mm convertible is beautiful! These were easily set up tubeless with just a floor pump. You should use a high end cassette that has an alloy carrier for the larger cogs as lower end cassettes with all of the cogs bolted together will chew up the aluminum freehub body. I chose to run an XT after a cheaper sram cassette got slightly stuck on the freehub body. I have ridden these wheels hard 3-4 days a week for 6 months and have been very happy.

I'm not the lightest rider around (220 lbs geared up) and I wanted a strong tubeless wheelset that wouldn't break the bank. The Charger Expert fit the bill. It's not the lightest. However, I've had these wheels for a year and a half, and I haven't had to true them yet. I *have* had to replace bearings, but that was no big deal. The hubs are easy to service, and the customer support from Sun Ringle (looking for details on what kind of wheel bearings to buy) was great. The freehub is getting chewed up by my cassette, so I'll need to replace that soon, too.
