PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Sun Ringle Charger Pro 26 Inch Tubeless MTB Wheelset

The Charger Pro is a step up from the Charge Expert. They both use the same Stan's enabled rim but the Pro steps it up a notch with a lighter hubset that rolls on upgraded bearings and utilizes straight-pull spokes. The Charger Pro is a great all-round wheelset, and Sun Ringle calls it an all-mountain wheelset that will definitely hold its own in an XC race from time to time.

Finally, the Charger Pro just doesn't both ways it goes three ways. Out of the box it's set up with a standard 9mm quick release or it can converted work with either a 15mm or 20mm thru axle fork. Both sets of adapters are included.

  • Everything you need to go tubeless is included
  • The rims are already taped and come with enough sealant for two wheels
  • Valve stems are included

With nearly one hundred 26 inch models to choose from and dozens that are tubeless compatible, Price Point stocks one of the largest inventories of MTB tires on the internet. Take a look at all our 26 inch tires here.

Nice Wheels! - Jul 22, 2014

Picked these up to upgrade the wheels on my 2010 enduro comp. I have converted to tubeless with these. They are stiffer, roll better and lighter. For the price a great upgrade! I like the red hub on my all black bike. Rear hub makes angry bee noise, I am not bothered by it. You could spend a lot more, I considered custom build wheels, but in the end these are just fine. I am very happy with my purchase.

Bought these to replace a heavier set of All Mountain wheels (Hadley/Mavic 729s) about 6 months ago. Was a little bit unsure of a 24 spoke wheelset for my type of riding. I have to say, I am thrilled with with the improvement uphill, feels like I dropped 20 lbs! Set PRs on every uphill. Downhill, I have not noticed much of an impact, the wheels feel stiff and responsive. Only downside is the engagement points dropped, but from Hadleys, that would be the case for almost any hubs. I did have to adjust my riding a bit for the increase responsiveness but would certainly recommend them.

You couldn't ask for more in an all around wheelset. Of course these are not going to be something you put on your DH rig but for XC to light freeride, these are awesome. Love the wide internal width. That is the main reason I picked these over most other wheelsets. I do a lot of ubran riding as well as trail. They have taken a lot of hard hits from 3foot + drops to the concrete. Still rollin straight.
