These are my first platforms with pins--they seem to do their job and spin smoothly. No issues yet.

No More Clipless - Nov 01, 2015

I switched from clipless pedal to these and couldn't be more pleased. The spikes stick well to most shoes I wear....minimal to no slippage. Completely functional and no more worries about clipless pedals not releasing in time!!!! If you want a pedal upgrade this is the way to go.....Especially if you are riding a 1995 Kona Cindercone!

Okay, not what I like though - Oct 13, 2015

These are a pretty generic platform pedal. They have good area coverage and decent cartridge style bearings and are better than generic plastic pedals that come on most bikes. BUT two things I do not like: 1) They have a weird slippy/shiny powdercoat type finish on the pedals themselves. This makes them fairly slippery and also made fitting the pins evenly rather difficult thanks to large deposits of finish in the threads and countersinks. 2) The pins that come with the pedals are similar to the finish- okay but not what I would like. They are very polished and have an oddly smooth feel for a pin. I have a pair of Wellgo platforms that were cheaper and I like much better.

Great Pedals! - Sep 10, 2015

West Bolton, VT

Pedals have worked out great so far. They are definitely beefy and heavy, not meant for racing I wouldn't say, but they seem to be basically indestructible.

Great! - May 01, 2015

Great pedals, especially for the price! Used on my fat bike, mostly for winter / snow riding, they are great! Probably best with a harder sole shoe as the studs really dig/hold your shoe to them!

Durability - Apr 11, 2015

I bought a pair of these for my first freeride bike back in '09. They have lasted for six years, with no issues. Still spinning smooth. Great product! Ended up swapping them out for a thinner profile pedal. The only reason I am giving them four stars is they're a bit heavy, but maybe that's why they're such a bomb proof product.

Light enough, durable, nice wide platform, traction and a fair price. Haven't crashed yet but they do look like they will tear up your shins.

feet glued - Jun 15, 2014

Winlock, WA

I got these pedals because my well-go platforms that came on my bike weren't as big, I put these on and boom my feet havent slipped off a pedal yet even on dirt jumps and technical trail your feet are glued with the studs on these. The solid aluminum construction is light and tough also these are a must buy for anyone who doesn't want clipless pedals

Fantastic pedals - Jun 12, 2014

FORT COLLINS, CO

I have been using these pedals for a while now and they are still working great. They give plenty of grip and it is nice having the replaceable pins. I would defiantly get another pair when my other ones die on me. These are probably some of the best pedals for the price.

sticky, good value - Apr 24, 2014

New Caney, TX

These are not the thinnest or lightest pedal around but they do offer plenty of grip. The pins are long and really stick to my Teva Pinner shoes. The bearings are smooth with no play. Bottom line, these are a great buy for the money.

Solid grippy platforms for a great price! - Apr 23, 2014

5 out of 5 stars
Corvallis, OR

Great closed bearing pedals for a very affordable price. 6 months of hard riding and they are still spinning strong. Tons of traction from having no shortage of pins. They are not light or thin...but neither am I. They get five stars for being the best platform pedals, for the price, out there.

If you want a standard flat pedal no frills these are the best for the money, i had mine like 6-7 years and still spin smooth just sold them to a friend, so i assume they will be ridden for quite a bit longer too.

Sun Ringle Pedals - Oct 31, 2013

Knoxville, AA

Good pedals for the price. They stick to your feet with 14 pins on each side. my only complaint is that they only came with 4 extra pins, but I still love these pedals. The sealed bearing keeps the dirt and sand out good too.
