Thomson AM Carbon Riser Bar 31.8 730mm

Thomson's all mountain carbon handlebar is 730mm wide and offers a 12mm (1/2 inch) of rise with 6 degrees of backsweep and 4 degrees of upsweep. Built for strength with enough flex built in for all day comfort. They're strong enough for All Mountain/Freeride, and light enough for XC racing

Thomson's bars are made with 3 different fiber types with different tensile strength and tensile modulus, including High Stregth carbon fibers. This helps to allocate stifness and flex were needed. All their carbon fiber material is produced by Toray and uses a tailor made nano Epoxy Resin for very high impact resistance. Toray is the main supplier of carbon fiber to Boeing and Airbus.

1.5K woven impact ends help prevent damage to unidirectional fibers from shortening the bar or impact with the ground.

I choose this bar to upgrade my Trek Marlin. My stock bar was 690mm and I needed a bar that was a little bit longer. I am glad I went with Thomson!! This bar is light, solid, and looks great! Would strongly recommend these bars!

Just built up my new Ellsworth Evolution from PP with Thomson post, stem and this bar. It looks gorgeous, and it feels very solid. I almost bought another Easton, but glad I bought this bar instead. Easton is good stuff too, but Thomson just feels solid and reliable. Peace of mind for me. And still performance oriented...that's Thomson
